The stage is set for the third Hannah More TTRS 'Battle of the Bands', this time an extended edition over the Easter holidays.

Can one class snatch the crown from reigning champions Year 5 Owl, or will the two-time victors storm to their third victory in a row?

It's time to rock on and find out!

Welcome back Year 6! We hope you had a great weekend and are ready, rested and willing to stretch your brains once more.

Here's your maths, English, activity and PE work for the week Monday 30 March to Friday 3 April.

SATs? Who needs SATs?! Welcome to the Year 6 weekly work round up from your favourite ever teachers: Mr Cook (remember him?!), Miss Skinner and Ms Winterbourne! Sometimes even Mr Webster too!

This is the place to be for the very finest maths, English and activity work for the week Monday 23 March to Friday 27 March.

Year 6 take on their biggest Fit School mission yet: the pedometer challenge.

Could the next Louis Smith or Claudia Fragapane be lurking in Kestrel class?

Year 6 Camp Day 3

On Wednesday everyone had a long sleep and woke up later than usual but still enjoyed there breakfast of beans on toast. Later in the day yr6 went paddle boarding and raft building. There was some amazing talent in both and quite a lot of falling in!

In the evening we took a new ginormous beach ball to play volleyball on the beach.

Year 6 Camp Day 2

After a very early start to Tuesday, the intrepid campers had a relaxed morning at camp. They made kites and flew them, played some games and made some birthday decorations for Lily! After lunch they headed off along the cliff top to Sandy Bay, admiring the beautiful views and the military base! They had a leisurely stroll back along the beach taking in some waves along the way. Tea was pasta bolognese with garlic bread - delicious!

Everyone went to sleep very quickly!

We walked along the beach at Exmouth and had our lunch by the sea. The seagulls were interested in the lunch too!

Then we climbed up the hill to the campsite and settled into our tents.

Later we had a circus skills workshop - juggling, plate spinning, diabolo - some very talented children indeed - Ms Ramsay was very impressed!!

Fish and chips for tea tonight!
