Being an Engineer - Design Technology
Design Technology @ Hannah More
The process of designing, making and improving products is at the heart of D.T. @ Hannah More. Through the enquiries children will design and make items for a purpose linked to another subject such as science. They develop different skills and are introduced to different methods of joining, moving and evaluating poroducts as they move through the school.
Cooking is a key skill we want our children to have the opportunity to try as they move through the school. We are currently working on creating a series of Collaborative Cooking partners in our community who will inspire the children and give them the chance to be in a kitchen environment, watch this space!
