Parents are usually involved in many ways at Hannah More. At the moment, we are limited by rules around covid. Usually, we invite parents to special events and to share our learning. We also run classes and workshops for parents. We have a PTA (parent teacher association) who can be contacted at This email address is being protected from spambots. They provide a chance to get together to help the school and to meet new friends. They are a very welcoming group!

We also have a 'Friends' group who secure grant funding and donations for the benefit of the school and its community. Like the PTA, the Friends group aims to support families and extend a welcome to everyone. The Annual report 2019-20 can be read here .  They can be contacted by email: This email address is being protected from spambots. Bridging Gaps are a group of women from school from different backgrounds who are interested in sharing their culture and learning about other cultures.  They run training to help people to be more culturally aware and more confident to speak to people from different backgrounds. Their twitter account https://twitter.com/gapsbridging and this recent article from Bristol 247 give a flavour. https://www.bristol247.com/news-and-features/features/mini-library-set-up-by-parents-working-to-build-bridges-across-cultures/ Their flyer can be seen here and their training offer is here.

An interesting report to Sport England about some ladies' fitness, netball and golf was produced in December 2020 - read this here.

We carried out a Parents Survey in March 2019 and the results are here. We were pleased to discover that 87% of parents feel their children make good progress; this was up from 68% in September 2018.

We are slowly restarting some parents activities - mums' netball / fitness will be back on Monday mornings from 10th  May and we plan to run a parenting course on Thursday mornings from June. We also hope to run some family swimming sessions on Saturday evenings from May; we are waiting to hear from Easton pool about the rules.
