Our school is divided in to four houses: Oak, Chestnut, Sycamore and Beech. Siblings are assigned to the same house. Each house has two staff leaders.
House Points are collected by pupils in a range of ways. Individuals may be awarded points for respecting the rights of others or for following instructions well, for outstanding homework, excellent manners, acts of kindness and so on. ''Superkids' are each awarded 10 house points at our Friday assembly!
At events such as sports day children compete for their house.
House points are recorded every week and at the end of terms 2, 4 and 6 the house with the most points is granted an extra 'house afternoon'. Sometimes the winning house even go to the cinema!
