Back in Spring every class planned a soup! They decided on ingredients and planted them in our raised beds. This week we had the great soup competition - we called it a "Soup Off!", Classes harvested the vegetables, peeled, chopped and sliced them and made big bowls of soup! Trevor and Mr Webster were the judges - taking tiny tastes of all the delicious soup! Enormous crocodile class won the Soup Off with their tompato, peper and carrot soup.

Check out the class pages for more photos!

Soup - Chunky Minestrone

Swift Super Soup photos - Chunky Minestrone! See - Swift Class page

Year 5 Dove had another successful week sailing where they braved the high winds and rain and set sail on the river Avon once again. It wasn't all plain sailing as the wind picked up halfway through our session and sent a few boats capsizing... with all sailors returning to land safe but a bit wet! Mr Schoner and Lisa were particularly impressed this week with the childrens' determination and resilience when faced with these challenges. Check out some of their photos below from the session.
