Construction Manager of the Year Awards
Tim Smith, the man in charge of our big building project to put six new classrooms on the roof last year, was one of only ten construction managers in the whole country to be nominated for the award because of the fabulous work he did at Hannah More. During half term Ms Ramsay was very privileged to be invited to a very posh awards ceremony in London with Tim and some of the SKANSKA team that worked here. In the pictures below you can see how smart it all was - and even catch a glimpse of our wonderful hall displayed on the huge screens in the hotel! We are very proud of Tim and the team and we love our new building!

Year 6 Farewell Assembly
On Friday 19th July Year 6 Eagle performed their farewell assembly. It was a fabulous show with acting, singing and reflections on their time at Hannah More. Many tears were shed, by parents, staff and children alike. We will miss them! The video below shows them rehearsing their finale song.
Sunflower
Welcome to our class page!
Our names are Rachel and Fatoumata and we work in the Sunflower room. The Sunflower Room is a homely and welcoming place for children who need extra help to settle, listen or concentrate. It is also a place where children can build up their emotional management skills, make friends and improve their self-confidence.
Children work in very small groups or one-to-one with an adult in a nurturing environment. Careful teaching helps children to make good progress in their learning and behaviour. Children who come to the Sunflower room are still part of their mainstream classes in school. They spend the morning in their classes and four afternoons a week in Sunflower. In Sunflower room we enjoy cooking, mindfulness, playing circle games, topic work and sharing a snack and story.
If you ever need to speak to us about anything, please come find us on the playground or phone the office to make an appointment.

Year 5 and 6 in Manorbier Day 2
It's Jamilia, Amelia and Melissa.
We had the most amazing day yesterday. we went coasteering. We thought it was challenging but at the same time it was really fun. I think most of us pushed ourselves to the limit and we were definitely determined to finish. We were also showed nurture because when people were slipping there was always someone to help them and we were showing enjoyment because we were always smiling and laughing. Some of us even took turns holding a jellyfish!
