Y6 Camp Sept 15 Day 1

07 September 2015

After a hectic train ride and a long, long beach walk, Year 6 have finally made it to camp in Exmouth. We had just enough time to get in our tent groups and sort out our beds before we went to a circus skills workshop. We learned to juggle, use the Diablo, plate spin and blow balloon animals!

Following a delicious dinner of fish and chips, we're about to head to the beach for a chill and a quick paddle. Hopefully there'll be lots of sleepy children by the time we arrive back at the tents in time for bed.

More photos and updates tomorrow!

Summer Play Day

09 July 2015

On 5th August there's a special Play Day on the school field - everyone is welcome to come along for some fun! More information here...

Year 6 Eagle had a wonderful time at Exmouth camp last week. Mr Schoner has taken the footage and turned it into a fabulous little video - take a look and enjoy the fun!

And...on the last night there was a surprise disco for all the schools at camp- here is a peek of Hannah More's top dancers!

It's our last day at camp and the children are busy packing their dorms and looking forward to coming home.

To celebrate their final day, the children will be hosting a fĂȘte showing off traditional games and activities from theit invented country. They will get to visit each other's stalls and spend the groats they have been earning all week for good teamwork and sensible behaviour.

Once the fair is complete the children will have their final dorm inspection and a packed lunch out on the field. Then we'll be on the coach and heading home!

All the children have really enjoyed their time at the Tythe Barn but there'll be lots of sleepy heads on the coach home looking forward to seeing their mums and dads again.

We're in party mood at Ledbury as we're celebrating Daleovantae's birthday. He had a special birthday table and enjoyed fuss, fun and presents at breakfast.

The Ofdorm inspection showed that children had made good progress, much to the relief of the monitors, with the key areas of  bed spreading, teddy happiness and clear tables being particular areas of strength. Mr Croc and Pinky commented that they were looking forward to coming back tomorrow to see further improvements.

Once dorms were clear the children began playing The Best Game in the World which really lived up to its name. There were lots of fierce warriors charging over the grounds winning points for their team.

Year 6 Camp Day 3

25 June 2015

On Wednesday everyone had a long sleep and woke up later than usual but still enjoyed there breakfast of beans on toast. Later in the day yr6 went paddle boarding and raft building. There was some amazing talent in both and quite a lot of falling in!

In the evening we took a new ginormous beach ball to play volleyball on the beach.
