Being Artists

Art @ Hannah More

High-quality art and design lessons will engage, inspire and challenge pupils, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own art work. At Hannah More, children will explore art in many forms: sketching, drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, digital media and printing. Art at Hannah More will develop creativity, innovation and critical thinking. Children will study ‘great’ artists and will learn how art and design both reflect and shape our history and culture.

This year, we are lucky to be working with Studio Meraki. Each year group will have the opportunity to work with specialist artists on a large scale project. Take a look at the overview to see all the amazing things they will be doing. The outcomes from these, as well as the termly art outcomes, will be on display in the ‘Art Gallery’ held in term 6. Make sure you come along to see their fantastic learning.
