16 March 2017

On Monday 13th March, Google came to Hannah More with their Virtual Reality (VR) Headsets!

Here are some blog posts from Year 4 Swift children.

The Google VR Headset Visit

By Omar Omar (Y4 Swift)

On the 13th of March, the Year 4 classes were all-a-looking when their teachers surprised them with Google coming to let them use the headsets.

They explored the galaxy, took on underwater things and looked at the Seven Wonders of the World. The shining phones put a beautiful display of the wonders in outside view, whilst flying! They even saw body parts! “It was fantastic!” shouted a happy Ahmed M.

They explore the Milky Way. “It was just as good as actually going into space!” shouted Ahmed A.

Maybe it’s a one-in-a-lifetime-experience, but it’s the thing you need to learn about the world!

Virtual Reality Head Set!

by Amal Abdirahman

In the morning, Year 4 went to the sports hall to meet Google. We were given a head set with a phone. There were some rules like no standing up, taking the phone out and hold it with two hands. It was UNBELIEVABLE. We saw the great wall of china, Collaseum, ocean and outer space.
