Lockdown was not fun for me,
All of my friends definitely agree,
In lockdown, we got so lazy,
Staying at home has been driving me crazy,
Lockdown needs to stop,
If it goes on, we might just pop!
We couldn't go out,
We just wanted to shout,
We were locked in our homes, so alone,
Only talking to our friends on the phone,
It felt like jail don't you know?
No leaving houses, nowhere to go.
When I couldn't go to school, I felt really mad,
Lockdown and coronavirus were making me sad,
When I first came to school I didn't have many friends,
But after a while I didn't want it to end.
Doing online learning wasn't the best,
But after working hard, I can finally rest.
Spending time with family is what I need,
Now we're back at school, it's strange indeed,
Home was sometimes boring, sometimes fun,
Now we're back at school we can go for a run,
Now we're back here, we like to be at school,
Being in Swallow class is really cool.
Online learning has come to an end,
It's good to be seeing our friends again!
