Science Week

17 March 2016

Science week has been amazing! On Monday, we were set a scrapheap challenge to make a robot or monster out of recycling. We decided to make a robot that could help in the future by recycling rubbish. We alos learned about reuse, reduce and recycle. Yesterday we made balloon powered car using straws, a paper plate, wheels and a balloon. In the afternoon, we made a Lego car and gave it instructions to make it move forwards and backwards using a computer. We also made things rotate clockwise and anti-clockwise. We were really interested to find out that we could use a laptop to make Lego move. It was so much fun!

Also this week, we have been rehearsing for our performance and have been practising on the stage.

In literacy we have been innovating a discussion text and in maths we have learned about coordinates.

It have been a great week!
