Today in Elmer and Gruffalo we remembered the learning we did at the Toy Museum.
We have many new and old toys in our classrooms, and we decided to use our new knowledge to sort the toys into 'past' and 'now.'
Some children found this a bit tricky... so we started to look at what the toys were made of as clues to when they were made.
The children now know to look and think about the materials of the toys to identify if children of the 'past' or children of 'now' would have played with them.
