For Black History week, Year 2 learned the African fae 'Even the Spiders and the Flies'. They started by using their inference skills to ask and answer questions about the text and then went out to act it out. From here we discovered the meaning behind the fable. During the whole school assembly, the children used their drawings to retell the fable and explained that it teaches us that everything has a purpose. It was a great week!
