Last day of lockdown!    Thanks to all of you who have worked so hard over the lockdown period.  We can't wait to have everyone back in one place again!

Today, I would like you to use your plan from yesterday to write your letter to the Pasha of Egypt.  You should write one sentence for the first section and then try to write two sentences for each reason supporting your opinion.  Your conclusion should also be one sentence.  Watch the video below to learn about how conjunctions will help your writing.

Enquiry

We are learning about animals in their microhabitats today.  Watch the video below then take a trip outside to find microhabitats and the animals that live there.  Use this sheet to record what you find!

Enquiry 

This term our enquiry is a science enquiry and we are looking to answer the question 'What is home?' We will be continuing to finding out about different animals habitats and how they are adapted to their homes. 

Activity 1:  Go out into your local park and look inside the microhabitats there.  What creatures can you find?  Use this sheet to make a record of all of the animals you notice.

Activity 2:  Case study of how elephants and giraffes have adapted to their habitats.  See Friday's video for the learning and sheet.

 

Other Wider Curriculum Activites for the Week

PSHE 

Today for PSHE we are thinking about what it means to be relaxed. Can you think of times you feel most relaxed and calm in your days? It important to have time to relax in your day to stay healthy! Then can you complete the worksheet and have a discussion about who you think seems relaxed or not in these pictures and place it on the scale. After write the feelings you would associate with each picture and situation. You may choose also to do this mindfulness video to take time to relax in your day!

 

PE 

Make sure to also come to the live session at 3:30pm Tuesday with Mr Rosseti and Miss Burnett!
