They brought along a fire engine and the children were able to learn all about their important job and even had a go at using the water hose!
The children were also given talks by the firemen about what they should do in emergency fire situations and practised how to 'stop, drop and roll'.
Both classes had a lot of fun but it was also a very important learning opportuniy for them and so we would like to say a big thank you to the Avon Fire Brigade for coming out to visit us!
