Farmer Nick came along from Lye Cross Farm and brought with him 12 freshly laid chickens eggs!
The children had a great time learning all about how the chicks grow inside the eggs, what they need and how to look after them. They had plenty of questions to ask him too!
The eggs will be looked after by the reception classes for the next 3 weeks in their incubator and then hopefully we will see them hatch into little chicks!!
Farmer Nick will be coming back to check on the chicks whilst they grow.
