As part of the day we learnt more about life at University - we found out about lectures and seminars and thought more about what it would be like to go to university. We also made links to our learning in school and spent time exploring shape. There was a carousel of activities in the morning. Each activity was a challenge linked to 2d shape. For example we created symmetrical islamic patterns and played shape bingo. After lunch and a trip to the park, we had to create a 3d model of a boat. This involved collaborating with our team mates to draw a range of different 3d nets which were then constructed and put together to make a boat. The day was lots of fun. Chek out the photos.
