PSHE at Hannah More
PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education) at Hannah More addresses key age-appropriate issues that children may encounter. It involves practical activities, discussions, written activities and the chance for children to have their voices heard. At times, it is also used to address what is going on around the world through things like circle times.
PSHE Curriculum at Hannah More
The 6 areas that are covered in every year group are:
- Being Me in My World
- Celebrating Difference
- Dreams and Goals
- Healthy Me
- Changing Me
These are tailored in different ways to each age group and have strong links with E-Safety when appropriate too.
Each year, the whole school engages in Anti-Bullying Week which focuses on a different theme each year. This year’s was Change Starts With Us. We also have a LifeBus which comes to the school for a whole week every year to teach children some key life skills.
