Year 4 enjoyed a visit from Captain Whitebeard yesterday to launch our English book for this term called 'The Pirate Cruncher'!
We enjoyed the way he introduced the story to us and told us all about the main characters - Captain Purplebeard, The Old Fiddler and Captain's Crew members.
The workshop we had included lots of games to play such as 'parrot, parrot, pirate' which is very similar to 'duck, duck, goose'.
